So Sweet!

Happy Birthday Jamie!

Saturday we celebrated Jamie's 28th birthday! We started the afternoon with some friendly competition at top golf (sadly I forgot my camera ergo no pictures) and ended with an amazing dinner at the house. Paul grilled tilapia and we had what might have been the best fish tacos I have ever eaten! Add on about 6 different salsas, corn, beans and rice...and top it off with a caramel turtle ice cream cake and you have one yummy birthday meal. Oh, and how can I forget the Sangria!!!

Matt and I were so excited to grill outside and have everyone over. We have spent the last few weekends doing yardwork, spray painting, painting and planting flowers. It was nice and cozy with everyone hanging out!!

Sunday I planned to take Laura to the Farmer's Market (she had never been) and we convinced Matt and Wes to come with us. They were troopers until Matt got hungry. Along with some fresh fruit we picked up some vegetable plants. She and Wes are starting a garden and I bought some large pots to hold a few plants. Baby steps for me as this is a first. I bought 5 plants: strawberries, yellow squash, tomatoes, red bell peppers, zucchini and some herbs! I just think it would be so cool to grow my own vegetables. (Although I am keeping my expectations realistic - i.e. low...haha!)

We followed our trip to the Farmer's Market with fine dining in the backyard.

Overall a GREAT weekend!
