This past weekend we took Denise and met the W. family for some fun at the arboretum. They have their Pumpkin Village out and it is worth the trip! We go every year! Steph brought her fancy camera, because let's be honest, isn't that why we go...for the pictures!

Our self-appointed Godson turned THREE Labor Day weekend. Yes, I am behind in posting about it. But late is better than never because Steph's party details should not be missed by anyone! I am so proud of my bestie for her creativity and love her "over-the-top"fabulous birthday parties. I am secretly taking notes and plan to insist my future 3 year old child loves Cars2 so that I can replicate the same party...lol! Enjoy the phenomenal details below...

Weekend Warriors

You can see that blogging has taken a backseat in Lundeland. There are several reasons why - but I would say the overarching reason is that there is never any time! And I mean that in the greatest way. Take away the fact that work and regular social activites are still going on - what I think is so amazing is the amount of visitors we have had over the past two months! A big thank you to all of our family and friends that have spent time visiting us over the past couple of months!

- August 25: Mom and Mark in town (golf, brunch, work dinner party)
- September 1: In Houston visiting Mark and Brian (Sam's 3rd birthday party, golf, brunch, football, jambalaya and steaks)
- September 8: Becky, Lucas and Brian in town (engagement party, Tracey's 30th Bday party)
- September 15: Fred and Karen in town (golf, starbucks, shopping and spa)
- September 22: Alex in San Antonio (R&R)
- September 29: Nathan in town (Matt in MN) (golf, golf, golf and football)
- October 6: Denise in town (shopping, resting, dinners in and movies)
- October 13: 2 birthday parties and a date night (excited to see friends)
- October 20: Dad coming in (Pumpking Carving party, costumes, R&R, TBD)
- October 27: Toyna coming in town (Fabulous girl time!!)

My custer (cousin/sister) has been engaged for over a month and I am FINALLY getting to post about it. Joe did an amazing job of the proposal - message in a bottle at Kelly's family island house! Joe showed Matt the ring before they left town and when he told me I felt like I was about to pop. I had to tell all my friends about it - even the ones that didn't know Kelly! And when she sent me the text that he asked - I was texting my friends and bursting with excitment! I feel like a proud big sister and am so excited to be a part of this special part of their lives! Even more fun - I am a bridesmaid!!!!! Love. It!

The weekend after Kelly & Joe got engaged we had Tracey's birthday party. Tracey, Chuck, Lucas, Becky, Matt and I asked the happy couple to come over early and surprised them with a little congratulations cake and champagne toast!
