Since we were in Wisconsin for Sam's birthday and couldn't attend his first birthday party (you should check out Steph's blog - she did an amazing job) we threw him a special party of our own complete with decorations, presents, Sam-friendly lunch and a monkey cake. We love that little guy!!!!

Sam did a great job opening his presents by himself!
"Uncle Matt and Aunt Alex" - so fun watching this little guy grow up.
LOVED his smash cake - up until he had to get a wash down in the sink. lol
