A Big Purchase...

Today is a big day for Matt and I....we signed the papers on our house!!!!! We have been casually looking for about 6 months, and then about 3 months ago started seriously looking. Wanting to stay in Dallas and not move out to the burbs made it a little more challenging - but after 42 houses, we found our dream home and couldn't be more excited about it. I have been wanting to blog about the house for the past month but was too scared to jinx it. We will get the keys on Friday and have roped several friends into helping us with one more "college" move (i.e. friends and beer rather than an actual moving company). The carpet is being installed Saturday morning and we will start moving stuff into the garage until they finish. There are a million things we love about it - but most of all might be having a backyard!!! That and the master closet :-) Can't wait for a house warming party!!!!!
