Happy 28th Birthday to ME! This post is late - but thought I would share the whirwind of a birthday it was! My mom came in town for the weekend so it was great actually getting to be with her on my actual birthday day. I took the day off (the first time I think I have ever taken a day off of work for my birthday) and we did everything you should do on your birthday: Starbucks, shopping, prepping for a party, and just hanging out. For my birthday all I wanted was to have good friends over and eat good food. I got both! My wonderful chef of a husband made chicken fajitas and shrimp tacos - along with a whole host of other goodies! Featured above are Steph's cake pops - which were to die for. So stinkin' cute!

For probably the last 4 years Matt has gotten a pinata for my birthday festivites. This year he went with pin the tail on the donkey. Hilarious! Can you see the tail that is to the right of Joe's face on the side wall above the light switch. Yes, that is how bad we were!
Loved 27 - really looking forward to 28!
