Last night I made cupcakes for Matt to take to work...blue and green for the Mavs!!! It worked out perfectly because I had some leftover batter to test out an idea I had for cute "doughnut" cupcakes. I recently bought a doughnut pan and recipe book and had been thinking that it might be possible to make doughnut shaped cupcakes. Well...it is...and they are awesome!
Even more perfect was the fact that we had plans to have dinner with Becky and Lucas tonight so I was able to share my little creations with other people!
Side note: Becky and Lucas just got two precious little kitties. They don't have names yet, but I'm insisting one of them keep the nickname 'lil bit.'
