Christmas cards have been ordered and I am SOOOOO excited for them to arrive. Usually I have several pictures of Matt and I throughout the year to choose from, but this year none of them were quite what I was looking for so we ended up having Laura take a few pictures for us while we were up in Wisconsin with Karen's fancy camera!
But before I get to some of the pics that didn't make the card....I have a project to share. Rather than overfil the fridge with the fabulous cards people send us (I love getting Christmas cards BTW) we have a new system!
Matt made this frame from baseboard wood we got and had cut at home depot. He used wood glue, a hand saw and a staple gun to put it together and then repainted it white so it was nice anc glossy.
We took down the painting we usually have up for the holiday season, so this amazing creation is front and center when you enter the house!
Next up we staple-gunned ribbon across - holiday ribbon from Michael 60% off!
We have only received one Christmas card thus far, so I used a few from last year. The clothspins were left over from the Mad Men shower we had. So...the pictures that are NOT on our Christmas card.
I thouht about maybe doing a photo shoot at the Santa center at Home Depot - seeing as how we have spent quite a bit of time (and money) there this past year. Quite fitting!
